Speaking of raincoat

I didn’t mind that it was raining.  Although, I should’ve worn my raincoat.

I heard Daddy calling for me, but I was just too tired to get out of bed.

I’m a good learner

So I’ve been doing this really silly trick since I learned to shake hands using the “Paw” command.  Sometimes, out of the blue, I will sit on my hind legs and wave both of my arms around as if I am drawing circles in the air.

Mama tried to teach me to do this trick on command, but so far we’re only halfway there.  Watch me almost punch her out in my many attempts.

Sometimes I get a little overzealous with my toys

Lucky for me, my parents don’t mind.

However, they’ve already warned me that if I chew the couch as if it was one of my toys I have to find myself a job.

Both Mommy and Daddy took me to the park this morning! The weather was not cooperative, but we did get some training sessions in before it poured. I’m working on learning to come when called. So far, I come when my squeaker is squeaked, which is great progress. I don’t mind going to the park alone, without other dogs, especially when Daddy is willing to run around in the mud with me.

When we got home we were all soaked. Mommy tucked me in bed under my towel and I slept for hours. I can only imagine how wonderful the park will be in the summer!

We played in the mud all day long today… TWO trips to the dog park.  Here is my friend Kayla, a Norwegian Elkhound.  Mama started a new blog just for outings to the park.  Go see how much fun we all had today!
