First trip to the vet

I had a scheduled checkup this morning with my doggy doctor.  I was so well-behaved!  I weigh 68 pounds and am a healthy boy.  No problems to report.  My doctor and nurses loved me and the doctor even wrote “nice dog” in my chart!  The nurses bragged to Mommy that the doctor doesn’t give those compliments often.  The nice people at the vet called me the PET OF THE DAY, and I didn’t even mind that I had to get two shots in my butt.

Afterwards, we went to the park where I met a pit bull named Hypnotic.  She was a young puppy and I played very nicely with her.

This was my first encounter with another dog since I came to live with my parents and I was such a good boy.  Mom is thinking about getting me a sibling someday.

When we came home, I took a nap on a pillowcase in the office.

My Auntie Carrie and Auntie Laura came over today to visit me. I tried peanut butter and danced to Crocodile Rock!

A boy needs his beauty sleep

We ran so many errands today that I could sleep until next Tuesday.

Mommy and I discovered a really neat dog park today and it is less than five minutes from our house! We’re going to go here all the time. There is a pond, a river, walking trails, and a huge open field.

Ps.  I look like a pony when I run.

Crank-butt

I’m being a little bit of a roughian tonight. I’m irritable. Chewy, whiny, cranky. This means that I didn’t get enough exercise today (although I pooped three times!) so Daddy is out taking me for a long walk. Hopefully now I can calm down a bit and get into my sleeping mode.

Bubbles bubbles bubbles

Mama took a bubble bath in the jet tub tonight and I decided that even though I’m not a big fan of water, I like to lick bubbles. Mom and Dad decided that I needed a small glob of bubbles on my head for my daily photo.

PS. No dogs were harmed in the short licking session of the bubbles.
